So it turns out through most likely sitting on a western style toilet I have contracted ring worm(tinea). While annoying, not really like threatening, and I'm currently not sexually active so it's not a big deal. I ended up having to go the pharmacy near my university to get some medication, though I was a little scared at this prospect due to my shit Chinese.

原来我不是一直坐西式马桶嘛，所以很有可能是因为这个得了环虫癣。虽然挺烦的，不过也没有特吓人，而且我性生活也不多，所以没什么大不了的。虽然因为自己的渣汉语心里有点怕怕，我还是决定到我大学附近的药店搞点药。

I ended up using Pleco to find the word for tinea and one of the pharmacists told me he would be right back. Although he didn't have the medicine for me I was at least expecting him to point me in the right direction as to where I could find some - however, instead he told me he would be back in 15 minutes and to wait here. The other workers offered me a chair to sit and prepared some tea for me as I waited.

我用Pleco（一个字典APP）找到了“癣”这个词，一个店员（看完）告诉我说他马上回来。我寻思着，他就是没药，也至少给我指条路我好自己到哪儿去找找呀——但他没有，他让我等他十五分钟。我等的时候其他的店员倒是帮我拿了凳子还倒了茶。

It took about 25 minutes, but the pharmacist for left for me came back DRENCHED in sweat(obviously full on sprinting to where ever he was going and back) with the medicine I needed. He pulled out the instructions and explained to me how to use it - also, for my trouble he gave me the medicine for free. I was shocked at how far he was willing to go for someone who he has never met before, while also asking for nothing in return. I've only been studying here for just over a month but I've never expected that amount of generosity from anyone in my entire life.

大概过了25分钟吧，这个店员拿着药，汗流浃背的冲我跑来（显然这一路不管来回他都是用生命在奔跑）。他拿出了药品说明书向我解释这药该怎么服用，而且他还免费给我了药。我当时就震惊了——怎么会有这种人对第一次遇见的人那么好，而且完全不要求回报。我在中国才学习了一个月，但我从没想过在我这一生中从别人那里能得到如此多的热心与慷慨。
